Tonight, before the Baltimore Ravens and the Pittsburgh Steelers square off on “Thursday Night Football”, JAY Z, Rihanna and Don Cheadle were supposed to kick things off with a special “Run This Town” segment. Unfortunately the performance has been cancelled.
According to CBS Sports Chairman Sean McManus, they revised the intro and wanted to offer a a more “subdued” and appropriate tone in light of the controversy surrounding Ray Rice and the elevator attack on his (then) fiance.
