The first annual AAHH! Fest in the Windy City was definitely one for the ages. Curated by Rhymefest (in conjunction with Donda’s House, Kanye’s foundation) and hosted by Dave Chappelle (I know, right?!), it was only natural that ‘Ye himself – after teaching a course in Los Angeles – would come out to perform a few songs as headliner Common’s special guest.
Mind you, this only happened after Common brought out Twista, then brought out both Jay Electronica and Vince Staples to perform their highly-anticipated remix to “Kingdom,” a night after introducing it at the BET Hip Hop Awards in Atlanta.
