I don’t trust Lifetime’s ability to do any great biopics (seriously, did anybody see the train wreck that was the Saved By The Bell mess?), and they certainly didn’t get things for their film on the late Aaliyah off on the right foot when they casted Zendaya for it (only for her to drop out shortly after). Now starring Alexandra Shipp, a short preview of the movie has begun airing on television, which you can watch above. Aaliyah: The Princess Of R&B airs on Lifetime Saturday, November 15th.
