Making his third appearance on the long-running late-night live television sketch comedy and variety show, the living legend – alongside 3RDEYEGIRL – will be the musical guest on SNL on November 1st, performing tracks from he and his band’s recent dual releases Art Official Age and PlectrumElectrum (you can listen to both albums here). Even better? The show itself will be hosted by show alum and a former member of the “Bad Boys of SNL,” Chris Rock. I’ll be honest: I haven’t really watched an episode of Saturday Night Live since Drake was the host, and that was way back in January. But as a huge fan of both Chris (his old show Everybody Hates Chris was seriously one of the most underrated sitcoms ever, in my opinion) and Prince this may actually be one of the better episodes to date… especially if Prince ends up in a sketch.
