A year and some change removed from the release of his sophomore studio album, Born Sinner, J. Cole surprised fans tonight when he officially announced the release of his third LP. The new album, 2014 Forest Hills Drive is due for a Dec. 9th release, and pre-orders are being taken on iTunes now, or via Amazon.
The album’s name sake is actually the address of Cole’s new home down in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Watch a video announcement of the album, and some behind-the-scenes footage below as well.
