Despite all the controversy that has surrounded him in the past few years, you cannot deny Mister Cee‘s legendary status in Hip-Hop.
If not for Mister Cee, we may have never discovered the late, great Notorious B.I.G., who played a huge role in exposing the oft-times considered G.O.A.T.’s tape to The Source. The former Big Daddy Kane DJ resigned from his duties at Hot 97 once before, but that lasted a mere one day.
Although details on his departure are scarce; read: no one really knows, yet, Mister Cee and his tribute mixes will be thoroughly missed. Cheers to you, and hopefully better things.
