Late last year the Pro Era worked with Akomplice Clothing and the J Dilla Foundation to release a special capsule collection (which also included the song “Two Lips“). Due to the success of the collaboration, which raised over $10,000, Joey returned to his alma mater, Edward R. Murrow High School in Brooklyn, NY, and donated all of the profits to provide music equipment to the school. Cameras were on hand to witness the joyous occasion, which you can check out above.
Joey’s highly-anticipated debut album, B4.DA.$$, drops on January 20th, 2015.
