Nicki Minaj is tonight’s musical guest on the 40th season of SNL, alongside host James Franco. Up top, she performs her Pinkprint cut “Bed of Lies” with Skylar Grey. For her second performance, Nicki performed her newest single “Only” sans Drake and Chris Brown.
The “harbinger of real rap” also appeared in a skit called “Jingle Ballerz,” where she impersonates Beyonce. I found Kate McKinnon’s Justin Bieber impression incredible, and she might just be the best thing to happen to SNL since Fred Armisen, Kristen Wiig and Seth Meyers left the show. I digress though. Nicki’s third studio album, The Pinkprint, arrives December 15th.
