The guns Bobby allegedly had on him at the time of his arrest.
This is truly a sad thing to see.
As most of us were already aware, last night Bobby Shmurda, Rowdy Rebel, and 13 other members of their GS9 crew got arrested during a recording session in NYC’s Quad Studios. I knew that it was a bad look when 15 people had to do a perp walk simultaneously, but I didn’t know how bad it was until the NYPD held a press conference earlier this afternoon to announce the charges the entire crew received. Needless to say, it’s a grocery list.

Alongside gun possession, every member was bagged on either criminal possession, reckless endangerment, assault, and/or conspiracy charges, with some members even catching second-degree murder charges. While Bobby, perhaps ironically, was hit with some of lesser charges Rowdy Rebel – who was beginning to establish himself within the crew – was not so lucky, catching an attempted murder charge (it was reported that he was “allegedly” involved in a shooting, then performed at Barclays the same night while wearing the same clothes).

If convicted, Bobby himself faces eight to 25 years in prison. He is currently being held on $2 million dollars bail. I can only imagine what the other members are facing.
