Devine Carama – Classic Material (Video)

blame it on Shake January 20, 2015

fter dropping 4 projects (The Dream Walker, Something More EP, Believing In Forever, & The Lost Jewels) in 2014, I’ll be taking the entire 2015 year off to not only take a breather musically but to also focus on my nonprofit org Believing In Forever Inc & some local community work. But before that, I’m dropping off a visual for a track called “Classic Material” off my latest full length album, Believing In Forever. The track is produced by France’s Cool FD Beats & the vintage hip hop visual is directed by Unsung Hero Media. Hope my first & final submission of the year fits into your format! Appreciate the support over the years & I promise to come back strong in 2016!

For his first and final submission of 2015, Kentucky’s Devine Carama – who will be taking the year off to music to focus on his non-profit organization – hits us with a video for “Classic Material” off his Believing in Forever LP.

“I’ve been around the indie hip hop culture for a decade now, so I often get approached by young MCs asking questions about how to get into hip hop and what their approach should be. When I wrote ‘Classical Material’ I wanted it to serve as an “away message” this year for those young gunners while I take my brief hiatus. This song touches on everything from how to manipulate the mic cord when performing to the integrity each MC should have for the culture coming into the game. Unsung Hero matched matched performance clips perfectly with the lyrics.”

Although Carama is taking the year off, the KY native dropped more than enough material in 2014 to keep y’all satisfied. Missed out? Peep the line-up: The Dream Walker, Something More, Believing In Forever and The Lost Jewels.
