Celebrating 20 years in 2015, indie powerhouse Rhymesayers Entertainment launched a new series, A Moment in Rhymesayers, to help commemorate their success over the past two decades.
Following the “The Beginning” and “Headshots Crew” episodes, we’ve now ventured into talk of how the first three Headshots tapes were created.
Episode 3 of “A Moment In Rhymesayers” covers the first three Headshots Tapes; Vol. 1: “WBBOY Sessions”, Vol. 2: “Arrogance” and Vol. 3: “Compensation”. In this episode, ANT, Slug and Siddiq discuss what inspired the idea for the Headshots Tape series, as well as how each of those first three tapes began and developed.
