With a plethora of dope songs, dope videos, and even doper interviews, Wale secured his second number-one album with The Album About Nothing.

Selling/streaming approximately 100,000 copies, Wale’s album overtook last week’s top-seller, Kendrick Lamar’s To Pimp A Butterfly – which dropped to the No. 4 position with 65,000 copies sold/streamed.

At number two, the soundtrack to the film Furious 7, which – due to a combination of its multiple singles, led by Wiz Khalifa’s “See You Again,” and the movie earning almost a half-billion dollars worldwide last weekend – climbed 17 spots to sell 74,000 copies and land the No. 2 spot.

Last, but not least, Ludacris bowed in at No. 3 with Ludaversal selling 73,000 copies.

For those keeping track, hip hop owns three of the top five slots in the Billboard charts this week.
