Brooklyn’s Wati Heru broke down our doors a few months ago with his incredible debut track, “BKWYA.” Two weeks later, he followed it up with his equally dope Dystopia FM with Bproducer Kashaka.
Now, with his tracks getting played daily here at the DopeHouse, the BK emcee is ready to keep the momentum rolling – and is teaming up with producer Kemal Akbas to release an EP named ZUGWANG.
To help kick things off, the duo let loose the lead single, “Birdman Hand Rub… Pause.” Don’t let the hilarious title fool you though, the money schemin’ cut is anything but a joke. It’s a wolf in sheep’s clothing, masking the menacing track that lays beneath it.
