Prie’s newest album was originally supposed to have dropped sometime back in February, but the Hawaii emcee with a bright future ahead of him decided to postpone the release as he continues to perfect the sound.
Following the release of his Beautiful Memories album which dropped right before the New Year, Prie has been spoiling us with one-offs and loosies here and there.
Today, he liberates something brand new: “Heartbreaker” featuring vocalist Maryanne. Over Magu The Dog’s lush, jazzy production – Prie lays all his cards on the table as he explores the topic of heartbreak and it’s aftermath. A requiem for love and grief. This will not appear on the upcoming album; just another loosie for the fans who have been patiently waiting.
