Your Old Droog is a current-day hip-hop head’s dream and a person who hates hip-hop heads’ “this guy sounds like Nas.” While I admit I used to be one of the people fully convinced the Brooklyn emcee was just a pseudonym of Nas, Droog has been able to develop his own personality and flavor talking about his own modern-day struggles and joys with a palpable swagger.

Droog is taking his talents on tour to Europe, starting June 6 in Dublin, Ireland, and before he sets off to the continent I just returned from, Droog dropped a groovy, jazzy loosie called “Senseless Killin’ II,” a follow-up to the penultimate song off his self-titled debut album. A bit more laid back than the first part, DJ Skizz give Droog a smooth background to stunt over, claiming that “Derek Jeter ain’t got more bitches than me.” That would be a helluva accomplishment.

“Senseless Killin’ II” is free-for-download, and make sure to check Droog in Europe if you live near one of the shows.
