In a video captured by a fan in the crowd, Weezy happily declared “I just signed a deal with my muthaf*ckin’ idol JAY Z.” The proclamation is a bit vague, as it’s not 100% sure if he signed to Roc Nation – although it would appear that way, considering the back and forth between Tune and Cash Money and the $51 million lawsuit filed against Birdman.

UPDATE: According to Cortez Bryant, Wayne’s manager, the deal is indeed with JAY Z’s music streaming service, TIDAL he explained to Billboard.
“When Wayne was speaking about the partnership with Jay Z, he was speaking about his new deal as an artist owner with TIDAL.”
Makes sense now, as “Glory” debuted through TIDAL.
