Late last week, news broke that Troy Ave‘s latest effort, Major Without a Deal, sold only 4,500 copies including 30 physical CDs which set Twitter ablaze.
Troy’s label (and distribution arm EMPIRE) quickly issued a statement via Billboard explaining the error in the sales reporting. Apparently, because the LP was released Friday (June 5), only three days of sales were reported to Neilson Soundscan.
