Story time, folks.

I have a friend who, like me, relocated from Southern California to New York City, and my friend almost immediately experience the culinary culture shock of living in a new place for the very first time: the “Mexican” restaurants are, in actuality, a combination of a variety of different Latino cuisines mashed into one place, and low-brow chicken joints are peppered everywhere. Brooklyn native Dyme-A-Duzin is used to these things, and uses the cheap poultry as an allegory on the first offering from his upcoming project Crown Fried. The follow-up to his 2014 mixtape Hip Hope, the project will drop soon.
