Vince Staples’ Summertime ’06 quickly became one of the most anticipated albums of 2015 when it was initially announced earlier this year.

In May, Vince unveiled the official artwork (with an obvious influential nod to Joy Division’s post-punk album Unknown Pleasures), along with the (partial) tracklist.

Then June arrived, and Vince doubled up on the surprise – the album would be a double disc! Since the announcement, the XXL Freshman has been on a heavy press junket promoting the album on Showoff Radio, The Nightly Show and even snatched up a spot on the new Sprite #ObeyYourVerse campaign.

With less than a week-and-a-half away from the June 30th release date, NPR blesses us with a First Listen of the double LP.

Stream it in it’s entirety below, with production from “No I.D.—and an all-star team of boardsmen including DJ Dahi, Clams Casino and Christian Rich.”
