For those wondering why Raury was a no-show at the XXL Freshman Live Concert, it was because he was too busy headlining he second installment of his RAURFEST. Starting as a small, organic event, the function has now ballooned to a 2,000-attendee affair with music from a variety of eclectic musicians.
With the likes of EarthGang, Two-9, Key!, India Shawn and others warming up the crowd, Raury’s fiery performance also included cameo appearances from Big K.R.I.T., D.R.A.M., Trinidad James, Keith Ape, Post Malone and SZA. This also comes on the heels of Raury’s latest achievement: opening up for none other than Lauryn Hill for a pair of select shows in August. Things are definitely looking up for the Indigo Child.
