Statik Selektah believes in higher powers. He believed “what goes around, comes around” on his album released last year, and on his upcoming LP, Lucky 7, he and the emcees acknowledge luck has a lot to do with succeeding.
On the album’s latest leak, “In the Wind,” Statik grabs Joey Bada$$, Chauncy Sherod and Big K.R.I.T. to float over soft boom-bap production discussing setting good examples and staying true to one’s self with their newfound fame.
