Drake premieres his brand new video for “Energy,” the Boi-1da-produced track from his critically acclaimed chart-topping mixtape, If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late.
The clip parodies big moments in pop culture including Tom Cruise jumping on the couch during an appearance on Oprah, Justin Bieber’s Calvin Klein ad, Miley Cyrus’ “Wrecking Ball” video, and Kanye’s “Bound 2” visual. Drizzy also transforms into former Toronto Mayor Rob Ford and President Barack Obama.
“I think it’s one of those moments where I really hit the nail on the head at that given moment,” Drake told Zane Lowe on Beats 1. “This treatment is something that I’ve had in my head for a while.”
