Black Milk Performs Three Songs For CD Baby’s Artist Session Series

blame it on Patrick Glynn July 16, 2015

Black Milk has been busy touring Europe, but just before heading out on tour, the Detroit rapper and his band, called Nat Turner, stopped by CD Baby’s studios is Portland, Oregon, to perform and three-song melody for their artist session series.

The emcee performed “Long Story Short,” which was released in 2008, “Everything Was” and “What It’s Worth,” which were released last year on Black Milk’s If There’s A Hell Below. Based simply on this video, it seems like Black Milk puts on a better live and more vibrant performance than most other rappers. The live band adds his own flavor and allows for chances to melody songs like the group did here. It’s far better than hitting play and letting the recording to the performing.
