After warning detractors to “Back Up” with Big Sean a couple weeks back, DeJ Loaf revealed plans to release her new EP, #AndSeeThatsTheThing, sometime this summer. For now, the Detroit native is offering up a look at the official artwork – which XXL drooled over, claiming it resembles “a fine painting you would hang in your house.”
“I wanted the cover art for #AndSeeThatsTheThing to be a self photo that needed no explanation. I wanted the people to understand everything in one photo and kind of be like ‘exactly, I get it’ because the title itself to me, means there’s no going around this. This is it, I’m here to stay. Different Flavors, different style. Anything I wanna do I can do it.”
No official date has been announced just yet, but you can catch DeJ on the road with Nicki Minaj on The PinkPrint Tour.
