It’s been a couple years since King I Divine‘s Crown Jewelz instrumental series released — the last one came out in 2011. Divine, though, will continue the theme of the series with a new stretch of EPs called Lost Jewelz, and they will consist of previously unreleased songs and instrumentals created on an MPC1000. Yesterday, Divine debuted he first song from the EPs, “Get Up” featuring ScienZe and Noveliss.
It’s grind time on “Get Up,’ with both emcees preaching about trying to work and make the most money possible to get the lifestyle of their dreams. The struggle don’t avoid them, but they use what they’ve learned, from the lesson from family and rappers, to succeed to the best of their ability.
