Acoustic covers of songs are usually hit or miss, especially when it comes to rap. However, there are some covers – the Migos‘ “Trap Symphony” version of “Hanna Montana” and, going even further, Kanye West and John Legend‘s original version of “Gold Digger” come to mind – that are pretty excellent. This latest version, from Emilio Rojas and Emanny, definitely falls into the latter category. The two perform their latest collaboration, “No Good,” minus its original electronic bells and whistles, giving the anthem about, well, the crazy women in our lives a more emotionally-driven sound.
Emilio’s new EP, L.I.F.E., is out now.
