Minneapolis emcee Allan Kingdom has slowly released music since appearing on “All Day” at the beginning of March, unleashing a song or featuring on a track about once a month since the newfound attention. Early this morning, though, Kingdom reappeared with a new self-produced cut called “Take It.”
The song transforms from a subtle banger with the confidence to take whatever he wants because no one’s going to hand it to him on a silver platter into a hopeful, peaceful moment of bliss, where Kingdom reflects on working hard to get stuff he’s never had before.
