Of all of the albums that released today – Migos, Roy Wood$, Dipset, Gunplay – The project I was personally interested in was the arrival of Professional Rapper, the debut album of Lil Dicky.

While he’s come across as a light-hearted, quasi-“novelty” comedy rapper who’s been hit with the tragic “frat rap” tag, Dicky is actually a very dense lyricist who just happens to be as funny as he is intelligent. All of that is on full display on Professional Rapper, where he stands toe-to-toe with a cast of characters: Snoop Dogg, Hannibal Buress, Fetty Wap and Rich Homie Quan, T-Pain, Jace of Two-9 and more. I already knew what he was capable of when I heard tracks like “Spontaneity,” but the opening track with Snoop just solidified things even more. Stream the concept album below.

As a bonus, watch the video for the LP’s opening track, the Snoop-guested title track.
