Big Boi and Phantogram’s joint album is done. I repeat… Big Boi and Phantogram’s joint album is officially done! Screw whatever else is going on in music, this is the best piece of news I’ve heard all month – outside of Dr. Dre dropping a NEW album, of course.

After linking up for three tracks off Big Boi’s Vicious Lies And Dangerous Rumors (“Objectum Sexuality,” “CPU” and “Lines” w/ A$AP Rocky) in 2012, the trio – together as Big Grams – continued working together and a joint project was eventually announced in April of 2014. Now, after countless hours in the studio, the album is finally finished! And although we had to wait over a year for its release, the delay is completely understandable. Phantogram had just released their Voices LP (which is incredible btw) two months prior to the announcement, and Big Boi was busy with the Outkast reunion tour (which was also incredible).

Check out the announcement below, and if this is the first time you’re hearing about the project, we’ve got everything you need know – from Run the Jewels scheduled to make an appearance, a possible Kendrick Lamar collab, and more.
