Professor Brian Oblivion sounds the real name of Professor Utonium from Powerpuff Girls, but instead of mixing Chemical X to create powerful, mutant little girls, he researches and mixes samples to help prove his thesis on his upcoming Dissertation: Volume 1 out September 4.

One of the album’s singles, “Está,” Oblivion sample a woman singing in Spanish, mainly emphasizing the word “está,” which in English means “are.” Let’s say I were in a club with previous Saturday Night Sexy goddess Sue Lasmar. I would be standing there wondering why I’m in this club in the first place, then I’d think “Ella está perfecta,” meaning I think she’s perfect. And then I’d dream of a Brazilian escape where we ran away together, and Professor Brian Oblivion’s “Está” would be the soundtrack to our getaway.
