Yesterday, B.o.B. announced a new mixtape, Psycadelik Thoughtz, set to release Friday. A day before its release and a day after its announcement, we get the album’s first single (and probably only) single, “Back & Forth.”

I’m gonna have to sit on this one for a couple more listens. While I like it better than songs like “HeadBand,” he’s singing the whole time. His raps haven’t been anything special, but it’s different. It’ll clearly make its way to the radio, so it’ll get overplayed either way if I do it or not. So I’ll enjoy it for the simple, funky single as it is now. Compared to modern-day material, It’s like an experimental mix between Daft Punk and Snoop Dogg in his “Sexual Eruption” era.

Listen to B.o.B.’s new song below, and make sure to cop his mixtape (which is for sale on iTunes, so like a Drake mixtape) on iTunes tomorrow.
