Following his If You Were Mine EP dropped right around the day of love in February, D.C.-bred singer Tank drops “You Don’t Know” featuring fellow citymate Wale. I think I just made the word “citymate” up.
Anyway, I was here for the Wale verse, and being real, it’s not gonna bring me back. “You Don’t Know” is your atypical current-day R ‘n’ B song with a singer crooning over the slow-tempo, bass-heavy, intimate production about how his girl doesn’t know about how much he loves her. I mean, just look at the artwork. The lyrics don’t run that deep.
