The DopeHouse is one of the biggest fans and supporters of Texas-reared songstress Mélat, there’s no question about that. From her well-received 2014 EP with the Samuel Adams Anarchist Jansport J, Move Me, to her recent release It Happens So Fast, her melodic tracks have left us anticipating more from her.
To celebrate the one-year anniversary of Move Me Mélat has connected with a variety of producers to reimagine some of the songs from the EP as new works of art, and these songs will release in the days leading up to its official 365. For the first loosie, French producer AAyhasis (from Dae One’s L.N.S. Entertainment production team) takes over the EP’s fourth track and gives it a new life. Listen to it below.
