Fresh off last week’s surprise release of FKA twigs’ M3LL155X EP, BOOTS – who produced four of the five tracks – has announced the release of his debut album, AQUΛRIA, dropping November 13th on Columbia Records. With co-production from El-P (Run the Jewels) and Carla Azar (Autolux), the LP is said to be “set somewhere in a twilight realm of the Information Era” as BOOTS uses a forward-thinking approach in mixing a variety of styles and vocals with a mission to push the boundaries.
Along with the announcement, BOOTS has released the album’s title-track featuring the incredibly cute talented Angel Deradoorian – who you may remember from The Roots’ “A Piece of Light” and Flying Lotus’ “Siren Song.” Check it out below and keep scrolling for BOOTS’ upcoming tour dates with Run the Jewels.
