Chicago-based duo theWHOevers have released nine songs over the past 18 weeks in two-week increments, most recently “Never Catch Me Slippin.” The series is almost like episode of a TV series, which the duo is calling Marathon. Today, we get the final episode of the series, “Night On Fire.”

Sonically, the episode sounds like a soothing close to a wonderful series until you hear the passion in J. Arthur’s and Dotkom’s pitch and message about trying to survive and be successful in the streets that could take a life in a heartbeat. While the two are aware of how difficult it is to grow up and succeed in Chicago, the two sound hopeful that if they stay true to their upbringing, they’ll be climb out of the streets are are lit up by fireworks every night. And these dude are on their way,
