After years of releasing free music to the masses, Curren$y is finally ready to cash in – well, sorta. With Def Jam and Atlantic backing Jet Life Recordings, Spitta has released his official debut single, “Bottom of the Bottle” featuring August Alsina and Lil Wayne – who hooked up on “Why I Do It” earlier today.

If you’ve been following the Jet Life captain on social media, you know he’s gearing up to release a new album called Canal Street Confidential (out Nov. 6th), and it looks like we just got the first taste. Pour up a glass and press play on Spitta’s new jam below – download via iTunes.

UPDATE: After debuting the single, Spitta sat down with Mass Appeal to speak on Canal Street Confidential, Atlantic’s response after hearing it, and being able to give them a “mainstream” single without having to switch up.
