Fashawn – “100 Bars”

blame it on Meka August 27, 2015
fashawn-100-bars

On the microphone, Fashawn is a bigger problem child than Junior Healy. Think I’m lying? Hit play on this latest freestyle, where he drops five straight minutes of fire over the same Eddie Henderson sample found in Jay-Z, Clark Kent and Memphis Bleek‘s 1996 track “Coming Of Age.”

Which actually makes sense, if you think about. The boy who met the world in 2009 is now a world-weary young man who not only is signed to the label of another lyrical prodigy but has become a well-respected and globe-trotting emcee. But me continuing to write is just delaying your ears from this aural piece of pleasure.

Speaking of globe-trotting, Fash will also hit the road with longtime partner Exile for a European leg of his The Ecology 2015 Tour. Find out if the two land in a township near you.
