At the MTV Awards Sunday, Kanye West announced he’s going to run for president in 2020. Illustrator Barry Blitt tells us Kanye’s “announcement of his intention to seek the Presidency reminds us that it’s not too early to start thinking about the 2020 campaign. (2016’s already old hat by now, anyway),” which is why Kanye has become the first emcee to cover The New Yorker magazine, according to Ambrosia for Heads.

Blitt, obviously satirical in his comments, drew Kanye in the similar fashion as Harry Truman posed in a photo holding a newspaper that his opponent had won when, in fact, it was Truman who actually won. The cover has Kanye holding a newspaper saying “TRUMP DEFEATS KANYE.” So there it is. The first prediction that Kanye’s going to beat asshat Donald Trump in the 2020 election. This was pretty cool.
