Ty Dolla $ign is a graduate, magna cum laude, from the Nate Dogg School Of Vocals: an immensely talented member of the Pushaz Ink (alongside YG and DJ Mustard), but seemingly forever relegated to hook duties. That all changed, however, when he notched a Gold single in “Paranoid” and became one of the most in-demand artists today.
With his Free TC debut now looking at a November 13th release date, Ty$ enlists Fetty Wap for the album’s next single, “When I See You.” With Cardo and Johnny Juliano lacing the track, they provide one of the meanest basslines in recent memory for the two to – quite succinctly – ask ladies if they could touch it or not, Cam’ron-style. Needless to say, they don’t even care how many drinks it’d take for you to leave with them; nope, they just plan on pounding out your insides on sight. Sounds vulgarly absurd, but when it sounds like this I’m sure the ladies don’t mind.
