Chances are that the visitors of this site have also spent a significant amount of time watching Cartoon Network’s [adult swim] block. As such, you’ve undoubtedly heard various rhythms by everyone from J Dilla to Gucci Mane. With summer on its last legs, [adult swim] will be closing things out with the final tracks from their signature Adult Swim Singles campaign, and boy did they drop a doozy.

Although the two have teased a joint project for what’s felt like eons now, not much has come from the unholy rap union of Ghostface Killah and DOOM – better known as DOOMStarks – save for several tracks from GFK’S 2006 project Fishscale and a couple one-offs here and there, claiming that a full length DOOMStarks (or Swift & Changeable) project was to drop in 2015. Up until now nothing has been seen, but they’ve teamed with [adult swim] to drop the first brand-new track from the duo in nearly a decade.

While less than three minutes, the track is a prime example of why fans have been clamoring for their oft-delayed project; DOOM’s sinister-sounding backdrop behind Pretty Tony’s fierce raps is almost baptismal. Seriously, why haven’t these two dropped an album yet? Considering that Ghost has dropped about 123 projects in the last six months, from Sour Soul with BADBADNOTGOOD to 36 Seasons, one would think that this would have been obvious. But I’m digressing at this point.
