Anyway, Cali beat maker Jonwayne has given New York emcee Your Old Droog‘s “Listen” off his The Nicest EP a remix, adding his own flavor of California shine. Changing the main sample below Droog’s words, Jonwayne makes Droog’s words seem less harsh and aggressive. It’s not that the original needed it whatsoever, it’s just nice to hear someone else curate a sound under someone’s words and it completely change the tone of what he’s saying.
