Joe Budden‘s All Love Lost isn’t supposed to drop until October 9, but the veteran is taking an interesting marketing approach with the release, unveiling all the lyrics to the album more than three weeks ahead of time.

Lyric site Genius premiered all the words from Budden’s 11-track project with verified annotations from the emcee. So far, we only have one single from All Love Lost, “Broke,” but now with all the lyrics out, it’d be awesome to hear the sounds underneath all these words before the album drops.

Budden sat down with Genius and Rob Markman to discuss the lyrics, especially the ones that lay on “Slaughtermouse,” which he describes as an open letter to Eminem. People assumed the song would be a diss track when he previewed it on his Instagram a month ago, but it was taken out of context. In the song, he details his relationship with Eminem, saying that even though E’ may not know it, but their paths are relatively similar. He continues discussing the success (or, at times, lack there of) Slaughterhouse has achieved and how he had to learn to not assume his success would happen from being affiliated with Eminem.

Watch the interview above, and head to Genius to check out all the lyrics from All Love Lost.
