It’s only a matter of time before Candice Pillay becomes a household name. After making noise with The Mood Kill* last year, the South African goddess caught the ear of Dr. Dre and eventually went on to become an integral part of the Compton soundtrack – appearing on “Genocide” alongside Kendrick Lamar, “Medicine Man” with Eminem, and a handful of other tracks.
Capitalizing on the newfound audience, Ms. Pillay released her new EP, The High, on iTunes. And today, following a co-sign from the good doctor himself, she liberates a video for track-four: “Party 4 Da Low.”
* I’ma need this made available on Apple Music.
