Following their collaborative efforts with both Von Pea (To:You) and Substantial (The Past…), The Other Guys will release their own project titled After The 9 To 5 on September 25th. The follow-up to their 2014 release Seeds of Ambition, the DMV-reared producers’ latest go-round will be an instrumental affair save for a pair of tracks featuring Von as well as Diamond District co-conspirator yU, with the former getting the visual treatment.
The hilariously oddball thing about this video, is that Von’s confrontational battle raps is the backing music as the Other Guys spend a random day at a carnival. That’s certainly not “street” raps, guys: come on, where’s the firing squad, the mean mugging and all the other amenities that come with confrontational battle raps?
