Kehlani‘s You Should Be Here has had some time to cool since it dropped in rotation in May, but the Oakland singer revisits the tape by sharing the visual for “Alive.”
Since the success of the tape, and more specifically the success of the “The Way” with Chance the Rapper, Kehlani has had some time to live a little bit, and there’s some evidence of that in her new video. The song preaches shedding old relationships/feelings in order to breath life into a stagnant lifestyle, so and what better way to live a little than a paradise excursion with the homies?
