eLZhi – “P.S.”

There hasn’t ben too much music from eLZhi in 2015. That’s not to say he hasn’t been working, however: he recently linked with Phat Kat and Guilty Simpson for the former’s remix to “All Madden,” helped out Mickey Factz on “Hayworth” and connected with Skyzoo on “Hands Folded Together.” Yet in terms of solo music, he hasn’t released anything since his early 2015 track “February.”

However with the release of his new project, Lead Poison, on the horizon, eLZhi has cranked out a new solo offering. A lyrical letter, the Detroit spitter dedicates two straight minutes to unload his densely verbal bars over a somber, piano-driven backdrop. While there’s no word if this track will in fact land on Lead Poison, it will definitely receive a warm welcome from eLZhi’s fans who have been clamoring for something new for a while.

SHAKE UPDATE: To add more context to the record, “P.S.” was released last week as an exclusive to “backers” of the Kickstarter campaign he launched in support of the new LP. But this is the wild wild internets, so it was bound to be ripped and uploaded for the rest of the world to enjoy. Oh, and the song is produced by Soledad Brother.
