A Tirbe Called Quest’s People’s Instinctive Travels and the Paths of Rhythm reached its 25th anniversary on April 10 of this year. It features iconic records like “Can I Kick It?,” “I Left My Wallet In El Segundo” and, on of the group’s greatest hits, “Bonita Applebum.” A re-release of the album is set to drop November 13, and along with it will come a Pharrell remix of the soothing, all-too-relatable jam of falling in love.

The remix was premiered by Rolling Stone, which pointed out Pharrell’s love for A Tribe Called Quest. They noted a 2011 interview that Pharrell said the group created “music theory for anybody that wants to be a producer,” in addition to placing “Scenario” on the NBA 2K15 soundtrack and Dope, a hit summer movie he produced this year. They also reminded us of an interview when curating Kendrick Lamar’s “Alright.” He said, “”[I wanted to] try to bring something a bit more mystical. I kind of had my A Tribe Called Quest hat on that day. I’m a huge Q-Tip fan.”

His remix, which you can listen to below, adds a bit of tempo to the track and layers in mysticism and intimacy with synthesizers and new, electric samples. The remix is one of three that will be added to the People’s Instinctive Travels and the Paths of Rhythm tracklist. In addition to Pharrell’s remix, J. Cole will offer a remix of “Can I Kick It?” and CeeLo Green will feature on a remix of “Footprint.” Pre-order the re-release on iTunes.
