Similar to when he went through a Recession in 2008, Jeezy has once again tapped into his socially responsible side and the musical results have been, for lack of a better term, rather powerful. With well-received #SundayService tracks like the Janelle Monáe-guested “Sweet Life” and the politically-charged spoken word offering “Pastor Young’s Letter,” this is the first time I’ve been excited for new Jeezy music in quite some time.

The good pastor will take his sermon on the road as well. Jeezy will embark on a six-date series of “intimate concerts” in support of his forthcoming eighth album Church In The Streets (which is slated to arrive on November 13th). These shows will take place throughout the country, from New York to New Orleans, and tickets are available now.

While you’re buying a ticket, you should do your ears a favor and listen to his new EP, Politically Correct, as well.
