Los Angeles’ The Neighbourhood is gearing up for the release of Wiped Out!, their second studio album, on October 30, and following singles “The Beach” and “R.I.P. 2 My Youth,” the band drops “Prey,” the third single and second track off their upcoming LP.

The band takes a much more loud, traditional rock approach than “The Beach,” leaning more toward their first single in tempo and vibe. As the lyrics follow a struggling relationship, the instrumentation follows a melodic, groovy approach making for damn good radio-ready single. Indie rock is poppin’ on alternative radio station, and “Prey” will fit in nicely. Now let’s see how The Neighbourhood combines the three sounds from their singles over to Wiped Out!.

Listen to “Prey” below, and pre-order Wiped Out! on iTunes.
