I had no idea who Snakehips were before today, but the fact they grabbed Tinashe and Chance the Rapper for a new single made me look them up. And thanks to this wonderful day and age we’re living in, where Wikipedia and a world of vast knowledge awaits, I’ve learned Snakehips are an electronic production duo from the United Kingdom. They haven’t quite made their way over to the states in terms of popularity just yet, but maybe their new single, “All My Friends,” will help.

Snakehips did a nice job of curating their sound for this new single around the talent of Tinashe and Chance. The duo created a organ-led, boom-bap sound for their made-for-radio party anthem about drinking too much on the weekend. But hey, it’s the damn weekend, so why not? We all have that one person we hit up after drinking too much, and it’s always nice if they’re just as fucked as you are. Then you can regret stuff together in the morning. This is definitely for those nights where it’s 3 a.m., your designated driver and you are trying to wonder how you’re going to lug the cargo in the backseat inside and — even worse — you guys just ate Checkers and you know how negatively it’s going to affect your body in the morning. College was so much fun.
